As the anatomy curriculum continues to evolve, and the use of medical imaging plays a pivotal role in diagnosis, prognosis, and identification of anatomical structures during teaching.

As a highly specialized discipline, it can be difficult to incorporate radiology into existing lectures without any prior experience or training.

That’s why during this month’s session, we’ll aim to help lecturers effectively teach students about the crucial role of medical imaging and interpretation of these images. We will cover:

  • Introduction to medical imaging: Incorporating 3D cross-sectional anatomy models viewed alongside authentic radiological content to improve identification and interpretation.
  • Translating into the clinical setting: Allow your students to explore some common injuries and diseases through imaging.

During this session we will be using the following titles: Cross-sectional Anatomy (Imaging); Ultrasound Upper Limb (Imaging); and Anatomy Learning Outcomes for Medicine.

To check which titles you have access to, please visit anatomy.tv online. If you have any issues accessing Primal Pictures, please let us know and we can assist. If you don’t have access to a title we will work through and would like to 30-day trial, please feel free to reach out and we can arrange access.

We hope to see you all there!
